YOUR EDENHALL WEDDING
Edenhall is home to three wedding venues, each with its own character and its own story to tell. Eden Hall sits amid beautiful lawns and a private lake. High Barn looks out over the Lake District and Pennine Fells. The River Barn rests right at the water’s edge. And for something more intimate, we have smaller spaces throughout the estate perfect for micro-weddings and private celebrations.
With on-site accommodation for up to 80 guests, an experienced team who know this place inside out, and our own 12th century church, everything you need is already here. All you have to do is say yes.

Set in 1,500 acres of beautiful private land, there is so much to love about Edenhall estate. With private rivers, historical buildings and woodlands, our own village church, multiple licensed ceremony areas and accommodation for up to 80 guests across our estate properties, it is a magical canvas on which to create your perfect celebration.
Eden Hall
Eden Hall is a historic, design-led venue set within sweeping estate parklands, with a private lake and jetty, magnificent mature trees, and views across the Pennine Fells . Expansive formal lawns for marquees, a sandstone courtyard with clocktower, and multiple licensed ceremony spaces mean your day can unfold exactly as you imagined.
High Barn
High Barn is a traditional sandstone barn in an exceptionally private setting, with a unique woodland ceremony space, two large lawns for tipis or marquees, and 360-degree views across the Pennine Fells and Lake District. This location offers accommodations within walking distance, bell tent camping on request, and an outdoor covered bar.
River Barn
River Barn is Edenhall’s brand new event venue. A stunning sandstone space sitting right on the banks of the River Eamont, with riverbank lawns, an outdoor kitchen, and plenty of room for a marquee amongst the landscaped gardens. Completely versatile, and quietly spectacular.
St Cuthberts Church
St Cuthbert’s Church is situated within the heart of Edenhall Estate. With the Pennine Fells as a backdrop to the East and incredible views across the estate parklands, deer herd, lake and woodlands, it is truly one of the most magical of settings. Dating back to the 12th Century, St Cuthbert’s has been carefully preserved and subtly restored, maintaining its rich history while showcasing its unique charm. St Cuthbert’s remains a truly special place in which to celebrate your vows.
